Display home profile: The Noir

Easy Living Guide

If you’re looking to become a first home buyer, looking through display homes is a great place to start.

And there’s a stack of great reasons to start with the Noir, our brand new display home now open in Wellard.

The Noir doesn’t hold back with its big, brilliant design – after all, who says first home buyers deserve less space than everyone else? Even if you’re a first home buyer, the Noir lets you go straight into a four bedroom, two bathroom home that needs a block width of just 12.5m.

Sales Manager of Easystart Homes, Ryan Underwood, shares some more cool insights into the Noir:

  • Ryan, the Noir looks like the kind of first home you could live in for life?

Yes that’s certainly a big plus about the Noir – while often first home buyers are asked to consider their first home a ‘stepping stone’ before they achieve their true family home, our four bedroom homes such as the Noir are really set up to take you through just about every stage of life.

The zoning of the Noir gives you some great options, taking you from day to night and from party time to private time. The masters of the home have their own huge master suite located at the front of the home, giving you views out to the street via corner feature windows. You’ve got your own walk-in robe and bathroom – it’s nice not having to share a bathroom with real or future children, you can keep the space very mature and glam.

The children’s wing is at the other end of the home to maximise privacy for everyone in the family. The second bathroom is located here too, with a separate WC in a good position for easy guest use from the entertaining zone.

  • What are some of the big-ticket items in the entertaining zone?

The whole area works really well together, and has a great sense of space that is amplified by high 31c ceilings and tall character windows. There’s a natural flow starting from the kitchen, all the way out to the alfresco, with sliding doors enabling for freedom of movement and light.

The kitchen alone is worth coming to take a look at. This home gives first home buyers a huge kitchen with a 3m work bench and a nice big scullery slightly concealed by feature shelving. The scullery is full of hidden delights such as an appliance cupboard and extra-large pantry.

Just off to the side of the entertaining/family zone is the home theatre – it’s close enough to be part of the action, yet also far enough away that you can close it right off to enjoy a movie without interruption.
